Marshall returned to Shreveport in 2007 after a successful career in Los Angeles, inspired by the burgeoning film industry following Hurricane Katrina. Since then, he has been instrumental in bringing numerous film projects to the area. As the commissioner, he works closely with Visit Shreveport-Bossier to establish a robust Film and Entertainment Commission. In 2024, he achieved significant milestones in this endeavor and looks forward to expanding the region’s offerings with new attractions and high-paying careers.
