San Francisco has taken a significant step in its entertainment scene with the kickoff of its second entertainment zone on Saturday at Thrive City outside Chase Center. This event comes just over two months after the first entertainment zone made its debut on Front Street. The "Winter Wonderland" celebration combined holiday festivities, special appearances, and a platform for local businesses to shine. Dancing, dazzling displays, and the one and only Montell Jordan added to the excitement on stage. Highlighting the Launch

Shena Way from Chase Canter and Thrive City shared, "Today is the first day of experiencing the entertainment zone here at Thrive City. People can now come and enjoy the tree lighting ceremony along with the entertainment. They can also stroll around with a beverage from one of our retailers." The Beh family from Hercules was excited to be part of the festivities. William Beh said, "This is really exciting with Chase Center here and the tree lighting. It's amazing!"

The Annual Lighting Ceremony

On this Saturday, the Winter Wonderland kicked off the festive season with the annual lighting ceremony. First, the lights illuminated the area, followed by the gentle fall of snow, officially ushering in the holiday season. The special celebration featured the Bay Area's largest tree, standing at an impressive 90 feet tall. ABC7 News anchor Amanda del Castillo was on stage with Warriors' legend Festus Ezeli to welcome and energize the large crowd that turned out.

Christine Oo and her family, who recently moved to San Francisco from New York, were all for the new entertainment zone. She said, "We just moved here and we appreciate these kinds of things. It's something we look forward to."
